UK’s Travel Restrictions : High Risk Countries

Also known as the “red list”, the UK has now banned or imposed tighter travel restrictions from 33 countries. The countries are mainly located in South America and Southern Africa. This is to curb the spread of Covid-19, its new variants and mutations.

The full list of banned countries are:

  • Mozambique
  • Namibia
  • Panama
  • Paraguay
  • Peru
  • Portugal (including Madeira and the Azores)
  • Rwanda
  • Seychelles
  • South Africa
  • Suriname
  • Tanzania
  • Uruguay
  • United Arab Emirates
  • Venezuela
  • Zambia
  • Zimbabwe
